id be interested in pics of the mats too. if theyre genuine renault rubber ones then id have them.

sorry bout the dog getting in the way :/
the mats look in good condition with not much wear from the pics, would u say that the pics make the mats look better than they are or are they in damn good condition?
if they are as good as they seem, then i'll take the mats deffo unless theyre already sold.
im away at the mo till monday, but i can try paypal on my phone! never done it before so not such how safe/successful it'll be!
would need them posting too.....unless your going to fcs?

I contacted willy_Kev about the mats on the 14th of May when he first registered.
A deal was struck FRIDAY last week and all we had to organize was collection or courier.
These mats were SOLD to me.
Well ****ed off to learn that they have been resold after they have been sold to me last week. And no payment has been sent yet...!!!!!!!!!!!! Offer or no offer elsewhere a deal is a deal Kev. In your own words. :evil:

:roll: you hadnt given me a definite yes or no.. i did say sounds like a deal, yes, but... you wanted to wait until FCS and even then you said you wanted to see them. The offer i was made was simply to good to refuse... ive made this clear to you in a pm today, ive also apologized to you for any inconvenience i have caused you.
you then on an open forum belittle me, and potentially damage my name as im new here and trying to make new friends and contribute... even as the deal was not 100% done!
while we are on the subject of getting things 'out in the open' and to put it politely!!...
You also bombed me with messages today because you viewed my pms using your pm reader and could see i had read your messages but not replied, while i was working i cant reply! to me this this is not acceptable! nor is it a valid reason to read pm's!
i apologized, and explained it was just 'too good of a deal to urn down' when in truth i didnt even have to do that! if you have an issue or a problem take it up with me! rather then have a rant on an open forum!
Im not going to argue about it, and im not trying to fall out, but in future a little respect by not reading my pms / ranting about me on an open forum.
Once again... sorry if this has caused you any inconvenience, and on a light note, at least your saving on added weight! :wink:

Maybe if you had a better offer you should have got back in touch to the guy who thought he already had bought them. I said on Friday don’t send pictures, as long as they are good then i am happy rather than just hoping i would go away and ignoring my messages. You never know what offer i would of come back with.
If you have time to read a pm, then u have time to reply.
You come on here wanting to make friends, i have no problem with that but upsetting the site owner for the sake of a single pm informing me of whats happening is laughable.
I even didn’t mind you advertising your own business as a non paid member. People normally ask first!!!

i think your find you have upset yourself northy, ive apologized more then once, im not going over this any longer as were going around in circles. If you have any further issues please pm me or ask for my phone number and call me, id appreciate that rather then air our dirty laundry in public.
As for SDP i think your find i asked for comments, not work. questions were asked after which i answered, i was also planning on contacting you to ask to affiliate with the the club, offering a discount for members and even help pay the server fee's for the advertising. IF you feel unhappy with the thread or its in breach of forum rules by all means remove it.

with all due respect northy, this for sale ad was posted on 19th, you say you bought them on 14th. 5 days previous. something you and the seller had previously arranged. i dont know the full story, but seems summat fishy goin on here tbh. seems to be quite a bit of it going on on here with members in a certain position in the club, going by past experiences

I spotted the mats on this thread and asked if he wished to sell them. (14th). My excitement grew....I Had a reply the same day to make him a offer. :preverted:
Over the next few days we exchanged pm's and by Friday last week (20th) we came to a deal.
Over the weekend i asked if he was going to FCS or Donington - No reply.
Tuesday morning i got told the mats had been sold.
Not understanding how this could of happened - i searched his profile and saw that these mats had been advertised openly on this forum over the weekend along with other shizzbizz.
Dont forget to read the bit were Kev had acknowledged they were provisionally sold :wink: and then Paul continues to strike a deal.
Yes i got rightly ****ed off and made my post as i wasn't getting anywhere via pm (every time a pm was read i just resent it within the hour till i had a reply). I then got told Duncan had not bought the mats either its someone else. So Dunc thinks he has them as well. GREAT lol the plot thickens.
He did well to get what he did for the mats, ironically for Kev if he had of let me know he would have got more.
I'm not sure how in my position 2live - any fishy goings on has happened. What experiences have happened before?

Northy had the eye to catch these items just like everyone else on here. He struck a deal, and then the buyer decides to do an eBay style bidding war between friends, (proven by posting them on this page to arouse further interest) after he had struck the deal with Northy.
Ok, so lets call it a "NEWB" mistake on Kev's part (although he is hardly a kid), BUT you of all people should realize how difficult it is to come by items like this when you are a TRUE enthusiast.
You seem to continue to believe there is some sort of "who shot JFK" conspiracy behind anything that you are unable to reach yourself.
He wont make many friends on here just like anyone who thinks like you do. Good friends look out for each other and help each other out. There is no "conspiracy" between friends. Thats the part you don't get.

I PM'D Kev regarding the mats early on, explained I was restoring a 3 and if the mats were available I'd offer him £60, he of course accepted (who wouldn't) as I felt this was a fair price for the rarity and condition of them.
I have PM'd Kev to apologies for what has simply now got out of hand, Northy you're welcome to review the messages to show nothing underhanded has been done.
As its clearly got lots of backs up, here's the deal:
1. If Northy still wants the mats I'm happy for him to snaffle them, but Kev should get the what there worth and match my offer £60?
2. If that doesn't work, if I have the mats and pay £60, I will give my brand new blue 'Williams' mats with gold trim and Williams embroidered logos to Northy FOC. (worth £60-£70 I think)
last and possibly the fairest open market option.
3. Kev put them on ebay announce on here, and let the highest bid win?
I'm trying to get my 3 back to concours / showroom condition and these mats would be perfect, but there's much more important things in life, as I've found out recently.
So let stop the character assassinations, Kev seems a really decent bloke, who's got things in perspective, Northy has met me so hopefully will know there was no malice ment.
No ones been perfect on this occasion, we're all enthusiasts that are passionate about our cars, maybe a little too passionate.

Oh and by the way, i have some of these mats in the garage and didnt even know what they were. They are like brand new and i have no interest in them. Make me an offer by pm if you want them.
I think they look shit to be honest. Hence they are in the garage and not my car.
