Strange one that.

is it possible that the injector is stuck open?

Don't want to tell you how to suck eggs but the HT leads are in the correct order, the new dizzy cap is correct and If you remove the plug and re-connect it to the HT you have a definate spark to earth?

:? i hope i am very wrong here, i had the same problem on my turbo car and it turned out the head gasket had blown inbetween the last 2 cylinders on the cambelt side, its happened to many people, as wobba says you need to do a compression test, i changed absolutely everything and the test results confirmed the problem, hope this is not your problem

could be headgasket as steam cleans the cylinder so they look like new
