Sold my Sparco pro 2000's as after 3 years use i decided they were a bit too much for daily driving  They were perfect ( probably the best seat ive been in) on track but that covers about 1% of my driving so had to go plus one needed a new cover to tidy it up...

Decided on a pair of Recaro Pole positions to replace them with and tbqh I'm over the moon with them :D They look stunning and are quite a bit more comfy than the sparcos due to having a wider seating area and the cushions seem softer as well :D Will replace the steel side mounts with a set of alloy ones at a later date to lose a little more weight etc but I'm happy enough for now :D

Looks good. For your info, the 'bar' on the harness is fitted incorrectly - it should be as close as possible to the mounting point otherwise the distance the belts stretch is greater than it would otherwise be and you are in greater danger of hitting the wheel/dash in the event of a heavy frontal impact.

Sorry Jay, this is the pic I meant to quote when pointing that out.

you mean the parts that adjust the length of the belts ? they need to be close to the eye bolts ?

Yep, that's right. Up close to the mounting hardware. It means that you'll end up with a load of spare strap flapping around at the end. If the belts are staying in that car forever then the excess past 100mm can safely be chopped off, but if like me, you think that one day you might want to reuse the belts in something else where they might need to be longer then you won't want to chop anything so just roll them up and hold them in place with an elastic band or something. I'll take some pics if you are not sure what I mean.

I'm guessing the belts are not handed, as if so you shouldn't really have them crossing over behind the seats?
