Hi ,

First of all I apologise my english, but I think you can understand (I am from Portugal).

Its been a while since my last post..but I know you are always very happy to help each other.

I am with a water leak into the seatbelt (where the seat belt rolls when you pull out or pull in..).

I wanna know if some of you have already had this problem.
I was searching in some foruns, and maybe could be from the drivers door rubber sealing (its a little bit "dry rubber")...

Please help !!
If you know please tell me what I can do and the number of the parts if possible (I am in Azores Islands..not many suppliers here..).

Thank you very much !!!

Cheers

Window or door seal, unless someone has routed the rear wiper spray pipe up there and its leaking.

Hi mate,

But window or door seal of the front door ?

I have suspected that it could be from the side window (back seats)...since is only in the seatbelt that is all wet...

Rear wiper pipe I dont think so..(my back wiper pump is dead..)..:)

Can anyone give me the renault part number ??

Cheers

which seat belt , front or rear ?? passenger or driver side ?

has the car got sunroof ?

i am assuming you mean the front seatbelt and i suspect your
sills might be full of water which is near enough where the belt lives .
can you take the plastic trim out and check ?

The car dont have sunroof.

The first time it happened the door seal had some water inside.

I think I have to change the door seal and the rear window seal.

Ohh..the wet seatbelt is the drivers one (LHD).

Thank you very much.

P.S. Does anyone have the part numbers ???

hi - just to bump this thread, I'm having the same issue with the passenger seatbelt on my W3. I'll have a look at the quarter window seal with the interior trim removed to see if it leaks from there. Then I'll enquire about getting a new seal, if needs be.
