View Full Version : Is this complete?
A bit of a nerve posting this seeing as its one of many things I'll be putting up for sale on here soon, but can anybody tell me if this bracket is complete for the manual power steering conversion..

I bought all the bits new from Renault a few years back (yes I must be mental!) and now can't remember what goes where
It looks like another bolt is needed to stop the other one from getting loose on the tension adjuster
Cheers!
Thats a complete kit yes, the only things missing is a shorter belt, the bolts to attach it to the block, and a nut and bolt to secure the alternator to the tensioning part.
Easy enough for others to source though :)
Thanks mate
Sorry I worded that badly lol
I've also got the other bracket with shorter bolts to attach it to the block
If I remember correctly I used my existing power steering bracket's bolts to hold the one pictured above to the block ok though when I did the dummy fit (never used it all in the end)
As for the belt, the one Renault gave me was too short so thats no good

It's not complete the bit you bolt the alternator to the bock with is missing (piece on the left)

Volvo ones but essentially the same
Thanks Justin.
Yes I've also got that bracket as well, but didn't include it in the photo.
Was just concerned if the bracket in my photo was missing anything on the tensioner bolt/rod thing.
Ok, from the pile of bits I've got..
Also have some random Renault bolts I ordered from the dialogys pic but don't think they are relevant so haven't included them in the pic
Its just the two brackets, three bolts to hold the block bracket on and the tensioner bolt/eye thing plus nut
Does this look more complete?

Oh my god, must need my head examining just going through all my old Renault paperwork, they stung me for 75 notes just for the two brackets and tension bolt/eye alone!
