I need a longer throttle cable for my ITB conversion. My car is LHD so maybe I could use RHD car throttle cable. I think it should be longer then the one from LHD Clio. Could anyone measure the length of RHD throttle cable for me so that I can compare the length and see if this is a viable solution?

This are different cable routings

Owner of this beautiful engine bay is Snowman. I hope he doesn't mind that I used his pic.

can you not run it straight down the cam pulley side of the engine ?

I could if my car was RHD, but it's LHD so it must be routed like yellow line shows.

Hmmm, I don't know what I was thinking. I rechecked where throttle cable attaches on my ITB's and it's on the right side , not the left side (as on the pic). Cable still needs to be a little bit longer, but not that much. So I'm pretty confident RHD cable would do the job.

Can someone please tell me how much new throttle cable costs?

I hope the one at Renault Parts Direct would do the job?

Price is ok at £19.31.

Disassemble the throttle linkage and turn it around so the cable attachment is on the left hand side. Then use the std. Jenvey cable.
Thats what i did....
