1993 williams with 150.000 miles.its been sitting outside for 3 years and hasnt been started in that time but was going well when parked up.i havent seen the car but was talking to the owner on the phone and he is looking £500.the car was stolen when a few months old and had its interior stripped out so its got no dash plaque.it was replaced with a 3 interior.any ideas on the cars value?

sounds like a money pit to be honest with you, and after a lot of money and effort it still wouldnt be worth more than 1.5k mint with the crash history, they wouldnt have wrote it off for the sake of an interior, a lot of these ex wright offs are advertised as having previous light damage but i would be very weary,

as long as there is oil in the engine ,it will be fine .
most cars in the same condition will start with a fresh battery ,you may want to disconnect the injector leccy connections and crank that way for a bit
to build up oil pressure / circulate oil .
some will need faffing about cleaning earth points etc .

either way ,its worth £150 in scrap value , so anything between that
and £500 is a winner imo.

got it going today.had to change the starter and plugs.its running on 3 cylinders, theres a problem with the wireing to one of the injectors.i had a quick look at the wires and cant find any rubbed through bits.would there be a chance of an ecu problem?
