Newbie with a few clios in the household, although none of them are actually williams but hopefully you wont hold that against me too much.

We've got a black phase 1 valver just as a sort of daily hack for the mrs, a 449 phase 2 with an F7R in it that we use for trackdays, and a liquid gold shell that we're going to be building up into a turbo trackday car.

This is the 449 that Im using at the moment as a trackday hack:

Interesting car there. Not seen a plenum like that before with such an odd setup. Looks like ITB's but it's not is it.

Not its not ITB's its a shareed plenum with a 57mm single throttle body before it.

I had ITB's before but TBH on a standard engine they arent really all that useful anyway (the breathing limits of the head and standard cams are far less than the ITBs limits) so I sold them to get some money back and made this from some random stuff I had lieing around.
We did similar on my mates westfield and it made a nice solid 180bhp, so im fairly confident the inlet is good for that (which is more than the engine is)
Didnt have to take any fuel out of the map at full throttle to see the same AFR, so it appears to flow the same as the bodies did on my engine.

Nowhere near a straight fit.

Its a Nissan pulsar cover i had left over from another project on a backing plate I custom made to match it up to an itb inlet manifold I had spare.
We got a company to water cut the spacer to increase the volume.
Then we shaped the end so the outlet point back at 45 degrees rather than straight, finally Dewis motorsport made and welded on the flange to suit the escort cosworth throttle body for me.

Lol, yeah I'm a bit old for them I think mate.

Think when I built my first engine most of them were still in nappies.
And i think some of them still are now occasionally even judging by the willingness to spit their dummies. Lol

Some good folks too though.
