Where's the best place to get my Willy wheels refurbed to a top notch standard?....and any idea of price??

1) Prestine at Milton Keynes

OR

2) LW Smart Repairs at Alfreton

Any advice/reports would be most welcome....thanks!

Pristine are THE best. Their williams gold colour match is as good as it gets.

I think it was about £360

Must be almost £400 with VAT increases, but that includes carriage I think.

Not bad price, how long did it take them?

thats pretty unanimous then, cheers guys...and girls.

has anyone used there 'exchange' deal where they give you another set of wheels to put on your car so you can drive it away leaving the ones for refurbing with them?? Great idea...

Turn around time was only a week I think

Prestine charge £60 a wheel + vat = £72 a wheel

Free carriage for just the hubs.

+£12 a wheel for if you take the car to them and they do all the tyre fitting, re-balancing etc.

or

+£18 a wheel if you ship the hubs with tyres to them and they do the tyre fitting, re-balancing etc.

So know you know :-)

Called them up today. £60+vat to pick them up from Edinburgh refurb them and delivered back. Thats brilliant. I'll be doing that next month. Cheers for the heads up!

I had mine done at LW smart repairs. They did and excellent job and have got a good colour match with the correct gold colour. You should expect to pay around £300 ex-vat for a set of 4. Cheers.

if someone is interested, got 5 refurbed williams wheels. Not gold but gunmetal grey. Perfect refurb, fitted with 5 brandnew R1R's, balanced, ready to go. NOT cheap, thats a fact.

I'm not gonna use them, change off plans. Need 9J and 17's wheels.

16" and 17", but i'm on hold to sell the 17"s. Depends when the custom spacers arrive.

btw, the 17's are new, the 16's used.

Sorry for the offtopic
