It's that time again! Time to start polishing the car and planning the convoy to jolly old Rockingham! Crack out the WC banners, lather thyself in suncream and debate risking your chariot on track...

Whose organising this year then?

:P

Is the driving standard on track at FCS particularly poor then?

Ok kool.

I've seen and heard of some minor incidents on track at FCS but the trouble is it tends to be quite heavy traffic sometimes with some inexperienced people out there.

On the whole it's not bad though and can be great to watch.

i've been on everytime for the last 3 yrs, the standard of driving has got progressively worse each yr. it was abysmal last yr with every little herbert in there shit car thinking there the nuts cos there blocking you from overtaking. twats dont understand trackday rules of etiquette.

Snett. Has been lengthened and has many new corners including hairpin which should suit Willys handling! Look on circuit web site for pics from above prob from J.P's copter ! :D

Might go to FCS for the first time this year but you have put me right off going on track!

Would be well up for a track day at Snett though.

I'll be at FCS, Mmmm.... Cakes.
And i would advise against going on track too, just look at the majority of the crowd the show attracts!
You don't want to be on track woth someone who has something to prove.
Only way would be is WC filled a dedicated track slot.

FCS for me is about a weekend with my friends, be it in C16V or WC.

bugger the show i dont even walk round unless im looking for emergency brake discs

LA - im sure we can sort something out with the tracktime between the 2 clubs im sure we can get enough numbers. I know C16V wont get enough people on its own as no one is that bothered with going out on track, but may brave it for a small session with other MK1's!

Just can't be bothered plus the car just gets dusty.

Yeah it is almost perfect now, really pleased with it.

Just come in the 225!
Would be nice to see you pair, it's not like we get that many chances.
As Ronee says its more of a social event for friends that i rarely see.

LA - do you want me to message Mark Dow or are you already on the case? ive got 7 that are interested on C16V already and im sure its either 20 or 30 places we will need filled to get our own session!

im in for track time, be good if we could get a dedicated slot of c16v and wc, as couple of years back i had a 106 gti i went out on track with some of the lads from 106 owners and they where mostly yobs. not track manor what so ever.
