Could someone tell me how you fit a new aerial base? Do you need to gain access from underneath?

Yea, gently prise the plastic covers off and under there is a nut, think it's like a 10mm or lower, may need a deep socket for it. Just undo and be ready to catch the aerial in case it falls and scratched paint.

Thanks guys. I tried getting the interior plastic off but no luck. Which way does it come off?

The light pops out could ease it gently with a flat screwdriver but try not to scratch it

I have managed to get the new aerial base fitted but does it need glueing down cos its not as tight as I would like?

Also, I couldnt get the antenna part off, or do I have to buy a new one?
