Which Gearbox.....

Hi all, Im currantly building a Williams from a bare shell, I have A williams engine with low miles but no box, I no a 16v one will fit but last about 10mins on the track, A willy one is rare and £££ will a 1.9d gearbox fit....

a 1.9 diesel box will fit but it wont be suitable for track use do to the ratios.

try a renault kangoo box....they seam fairly similar to a williams box.

only thing is you have to machine the driveshaft for it to fit properly but i'm sure mark ritchspeed will tell you all about it as he is running one
