Brake Issues

Hi everyone,

My brakes have been acting a bid odd recently. They have not been working very efficiently on the odd occassion (after initial start up) and when i brake i am hearing a clunking/grinding noise from the rear.

Pads were replaced not that long ago.

Any ideas?

any grinding noise from the brakes needs investigating before driving again

Could be one of many things,

Siezed sliders, siezed pistons, spring retainers missing, pads worn, disks worn etc

how is the handbrake ?

handbrake is fine pal, i checked the discs and there doesnt seem to be any scrape marks.

maybe the discs need replacing?

double check you have all four pads in there bud, i had one fall out due to incorrect fitment of slider

ahhh, i will try that mate. Although am not mechanically minded. :?
