View Full Version : ghey lambda
looks like my lambda is fokkered .
starting from cold the idle goes down to 500 for few secs than
shoots back up . once the temp is over 1st line on thr gauge she
drives perfeclty fine .
any temporary solutions to this ?? what happens if i disconnect the
lambda and drive it that way for a bit ? 8)

the naples has no lambda working at the moment, its been turned off and she still runs fine just drinks petrol.
dont know if it being on standalone makes a difference though?
I don't believe the lambda readings are even used until the car is up to temperature are they? ECU relies of coolant, air temp and MAP sensor readings when at cold startup.
so what is it if its not the lambda ?
Has it only been since the cold spell? Coolant temp sensor maybe?

As above lambda will only come into play once the car is nearing full operating temperature.
