I need to get some quotes for shipping a subframe from a seller to myself - has anyone done this and can recommend a courier or can anyone advise on the approximate weight and dimensions so I can get some quotes myself??

theres not much to it you just parcel it up then measure it up then get it weighed then give the dimensions and address to a courier and they will give you a quote.

Yes, obviuosly!

But I don't have the item. Its still attached to the car of the guy that's selling it and its up to me to arrange shipping,

interparcel.com will give you an online quote if you have dimensions and weight. Can do it all online and they will collect from you when you choose which courier is best for your consignment.

Direct Courier Services on 01254249783. I've used them alot. They shipped a scorpion cat back exhaust system for me from Edinburgh to Lincoln for £20 Pretty good I thought. Give them a try.

Weight is 15kgs, can't give you dimensions I'm afraid... I paid £11 via Royal Mail to ship a subframe.
