Hi there

Here is a video of me running my Williams 3 on the rollers at work

As i have free use of the dyno i'm going to be doing a little experiment

I purchased the car 2 week ago with 76K miles on the clock and it has a full service history upto 69K miles.

So this first dyno test is of the car as it is.

the next dyno will be after a full service including dizzy, rotor, plugs, oil and filter, coolant and fuel filter and see what difference this had made

i will then be hopefully adding a de cat if i can source one and see what extra power this gives

anyway here you go

I did a couple more power runs tonight

After the anticipation of how much extra power a service would give

WELL is was no different at all however the car does feel smoother

While i had the car on the rollers i decided to take my standard air box off and see what would happen - i let the figures do the speaking

the standard car was 84.5 kW @ the wheels (114.9 BHP)

The car with the air box removed was 89.5 @ the wheels (121.7 BHP)

Really quite amazing! (sounded loads better too)

I can't wait to try a de cat and maybe some super unleaded fuel

I have also noted the standard 6500 RPM rev limiter is cutting in before the engine has reached peak power

Wow, that's quite a difference without the airbox.
