Hi
Just wondering if Clio 16v or R19 front suspension struts fit onto a Williams?

16v struts will physically fit but you will then be running the wrong camber as the Williams has a wider front track. Some camber correction bolts might be able to sort that though?

19 definately doesn't as it mounts differently at the top, clio 16v fits but as Steve said camber will be all wrong.

Try and stick with original stuff, Renault got the set-up spot on.

Yeah the handling is spot on however i would just like the stance to be a little lower

looks really!

Surely retain or replace the original Renault struts and fit lowering springs?

Will that work? I always thought just fitting lowering springs to standard struts ends up in terrible handling and a bouncy ride?

Not done it on a Williams, but I ran my 205 gti with -25mm Skip Brown Springs on the OE replacement black Bilstein shocks and noticed no deterioration in ride quality.

I wouldn't run stupid low springs though...
