lads whats the default position for this thing? is there a bracket that holds it in place? maybe I lost one on the rebuild.

any sealant needed between fanifold and downpipe needed?

no sealant its a wirey compression ring i think

oki dokey then..think the exhaust is pulling it off center. will have another butchers at it tomorrow.

There should be a tapered 'fire ring' that sits around the end of the manifold part that the downpipe then bolts up against and creates a decent seal without the need for any paste, etc. It should just be a case of tightening the mounting bolts against the springs that are there.
