Play in suspension mounts

How much, if any, play should there be in the suspension mounts? On mine there is just a little between the metal collar and the rubber (although the rubber next to the collar doesn't look to be worn) and there is just a very small amount between the inner and outer washer. I'm concerned that there shouldn't be any play but the mounts are from a low mileage car (50K) and they don't look worn . What do you guys think? Will they be OK to go back on (after I've cleaned them up obviously :-))

When you say inner and outer washer, what do you mean? There is a little washer under that ufo looking metal spin plate, which slots neatly into the big rubber doughnut. Is that what you mean?

Probably be fine, and its not a big job to replace them tbh. Can get replacement sets off Renault.

Personally, I just have solid ones now.

Yes, that's right. From what you're saying I think I'll just put them back on as they look ok and it won't be a major headache to change them in the future if I need to.
