anyway of testing to see if this thing works other than relying on the engine to heat up and then switching the car off before the fan gets a chance to cut in?

only a motor, id of thought direct 12v to it would see it moving

its a clio only feature , 19 16v leccy pumps start running everytime
the ignition is switched off regardless of temperature .

Can short out the grey sensor on the stat housing.

Roger that. Kicked in and pump spinning and fan also :wink:
Looking at the switch itself you would need some seriously high ambient temps for that to activate as the normal fan switch is gonna swwich on around 91 degrees anyhow.

Think it's over 105' with the engine off, runs for 8 mins.
