windscreen removal

I know most folks leave this job to their insurance companies but has anyone replaced their own windscreen? Is it just a case of peeling off the seal as you do on the rear tailgate one?

no mate......its siliconed in too. youl be lucky to get it out without breaking it tbh. even most of the windscreen places break em, crack em, or get splinters of glass coming off them when removing.
