INCAR ACTION FOR ABM Rally at the weekend

Full report to come, were fighting for a class position and having the bleed the Alcons every 2 stages as the fluid was boiled dry after comming into the service area (flames were wisping off the pagid blue pads now pagid browns) and heat soaking them but wire on the throttle pot connector came loose and we went OTL so out the event with only 2 stages in the dark left to run :(

Full report to come, this was the first stage then the battery run out but second identical stage we were 26 seconds quicker..!!

Was first time we have used the cam mount so needs repositioning for next time.

Tight (kerbs everywhere) but very quick in places...if you go off you into a tree or post..!

Gearbox is a JC5 with 5.2 final drive...but its not in the car now as there was a loud clunk when putting it on the trailer after the even which didnt sound very nice...!!!

Its as quick as the class winning 280hp S2000 engined sequential boxed Mk2 and a bit quicker out the slow corners, met him on stage a few times. Braking was the issues for us so was gaining time on the brakes...

Although pads are trashed there was no fade on stage problem is when you finish the stage you stop straight away and the brakes heat soak and boil the fluid.

The brakes on 10min stages ultra grippy tarmac and 8" Michelin slicks will 110-30 god know how many times the brakes where awsome but no chance to cool. Discs were glowing red on stage apparently. May go to 300mm discs.
