To be honest I am not sure I want to sell these but if someone wants to make a sensible offer I will consider selling them preferably to a club member and ideally for a show car.

They are 4 absolutely mint/original speedlines as you would get if you bought them new from the factory (if you can get them that is)

The added bonus is they are fitted with the Michelen pilot tyres that were factory fitted when the williams was originaly released.

They are numbered with the circled 1 hence very likely were fitted to a Williams 1.

Please dont clutter the post with non-sensical blabber.
No swaps or part exchange as I need the proceeds to finish off my own williams.
PM me if you have a genuine offer.

Thanks,
Fab.

Seller's entitled to ask for whatever price he want I suppose, but the tyres are not the original Williams spec ones, those in the pics are Pilot SX's, not HX's.

However, to aid the sale, if these are as described then it may be someone's last chance for getting original wheels, as Renault only have 2 left on their system with no plans for anymore!

As sure as can be, it was my local Renault dealer, they only had 2 alloys on their system which were in the UK iirc with none in France.

Hi Northy yes I am..left the Italian roads behind me and looking to hook up with you lads hopefully in the new year
The car is as fantastic as ever, really have not been able to get hooked on anything since buying it in 2005. A new M3 came close but ubber serious money :D Need lotto money for them.
See you have a nice cup racer. Was watching your vids around anglesey with Mat in the car. Brought back some fond memories.

No worries Jon..I reckon SX's was perhaps fitted on euro models...anyways HX/SX I cant tell the difference! 8)

Mat.turner I'm very serious these go to a good home and as I said to a club member, preferably.
I know they aint cheap but I also know that there are serious collectors out there and also some chaps who are very passionate about keeping the Williams as original as possible.( not taking anything away from the boys/girls who modify them) we all have our fancies

That said, I'm a generous person and bit of a big heart too so to the right person I will negotiate.:D

Anyways here are the latest pics. Ive marked in yellow "scuff marks".

The backs are showing grease or tar marks on them. Easily cleanable.

some more pics..you know how these speedlines need to be seen in different lights/angles to appreciate them.

they were stored in my parents attic for the past 5 years. i was afraid to use them! Only ever washed them once with luke warm water and no solvents. there is no flaking paint and the diamond edge's are sparkling as can be seen from the foto's.

as I was saying earlier I need in and around £700 to finish off my own williams.(five years of pure pleasure I might add)

On reflection £700 is a good price with the tyres. There are only 2 Williams alloys left, then that's your lot. Compare the new prices and the fact you cannot get a full set and these start to look like a bargain. Someone will buy them.

For perfection Daz the why I see it you have 2 options.
1. Go to reno hand them a cheque for £1100 and they will tear you a new arsehole with 4 wheels without caps and no tyres.
2. Go steal them from car#0001 or wait for another set that come off a williams that has never been driven on the road. Either way you better not hold your breath.

Perfect these are not but they are as close as your gonna get at that price which is I might add negotiable 8)

Exactly, couldn't agree more. Want better, go to Renault, but good luck, as they only have 2 left.

Oh, 0001 has Pirelli's on, so they would need to come off straight away! lol

Thanks. After the HM 4L bit is there then a three or four digit number? Perhaps with a triangle after the last digit?

New and original is always better than a refurb imo, the colour never comes out the same.

There were some in boxes on here and they went quickly. I think these will be bought pretty quick too.

Can I just say something..if you own a williams or are thinking of buying one dont focus on the wheels. It was the one area that always proved a disappointment for me. Get them refurbed if you wish with a proper color match or buy some other wheel..but whatever you do DRIVE the car and enjoy it for what it's worth. I own a williams and have had more pleasure driving it than looking at the wheels!
And yes I am a fool for selling these and it's a fool that will buy them but they are destined for some place other than my attic and hence they are for sale.
There I said it now!

its nuts..we spend most of the time worrying about the friggin wheels and the answer is right under our nose, it kills me to say it but the only wheels were ever gonna need are Northy and Fatboys and they have given us 4 a piece

Personally I would only buy these and put on for car shows, and if my car was concours condition, otherwise I'd just go for the refurb option. Lovely wheels though fab, good luck with the sale.

Hard to tell zooming in, but in one pic it looks like 025 <triangle> or 035 <triangle>?
