Hello all,

Took my new Williams 3 out today, rather than cleaning it, with my 3 year old who's in love with Willy, she says its special. Always good to start them young!

I'm a certified petrol head, and this ones a keeper. Going to be making it tip top, so will be hunting for parts (already have a few, thanks Northy) and tinkering will keep the photos and updates coming!

Look forward to a bit of banter along the way!

I know that's my 3 year old, she's obsessed with the car, whenever I move it out of the garage she has to get in standing in the passenger footwell, holding on to the top of the glove box, like a proud captain!

We were traveling down a narrow land yesterday, and met an on coming car, when she shouted by careful of Willy, its special! She's definitively mine!

To be fair, its obviously been pampered by the 2 owners after you, as it still is really mind. just a bit of rust on the pass rear arch and the drivers door (have a rust free one, thanks Northy) the wheels have been well refurbed, I've just cleaned, cleaned and cleaned again! Also bought an original head unit.

Other plans are to get as close to concours condition as I can, but still want to use it. Will take somemore photos this weekend!

You'll have fun trying to keep that balance! I'm in the same situation - have a mint car but still like using it....

Its a fine balance but you can still use it and make it mint. If you stop using her she will get upset and like all women hit you where it hurts most..................... your wallet! :wink:

Also forgot to ask, is the folder all your handy work? I am keeping up the chronological filing! :lol:

Great to read/see from the previous owners too. Just shows you what a succession of enthusiast owners do for the general upkeep of a car - a credit to all who were custodians!

Just spotted the photo's from Totti, Cheers for that!

Did find them previously as I tracked them down via the J18 TOT plate on the HPI. Also as a nod to you I've managed to source a brand new set of yellow fog lights!! Sure will split opinion but I think they look great!

Its tucked up for the winter now, so look forward to the spring and hopefully some meets!
