Broken piston ring?

What's a good sign of a broken piston ring?

scoring of the bores and maybe a drop in compression or blue smoke depending which rings gone

Ah right, well dont think thats it then. It runs fine with no smoke, but when i changed the park plugs the right hand one was covered in oil :?
