Rear caliper handbrake cable (pics)

Hi. you know the way handbrake cable goes through the rear caliper/piston well, to get the cable out does it screw out or is it just slotted in?

Hehe, yea they can be a pain to remove. That piece there it is stuck on should just slot out. As long as the cable at the end with the brake caliper is disconnected (as is the case in your picture) then you should be able to just pull it off.

That confused the hell out of me the first time i did a rear caliper
