Hi guys,

had track rods and ends replaced and clutch at the same time.

got it tracked up, but the steering was and is odd.

very stiff on turning right.

does not self centre

also when turning left at a reasonable speed or with throttle on, can hear a rumble/clunking for the left side.

I have put it on axle stands and can not see anything loose apart from a heat sheild with has actually come off....not sure where that goes, somewheree underneath, probably the guy who replaced the clutch did not put it back on.

the only thing i noticed that he put the cable tie on the wrong place on the nearside gaitor, on top of the breather pipe. cant see anything else obvious causing obstruction.

also sometimes tracking seems ok, other time wheel in a lot to the left to keep car straight.

Help please!

Check the track rod ends are on the right way round, they are left and right specific. have a look at em and check people pictures here to compare.

Rumbling could be CV joint or bearing or wheel scrubbing.
