That trophy looks lovely, what a fantastic backdrop to the circuit too. I gotta get my motor back on the road, really missed out there! was bad enough my mate sent me text from nurburgring where he took his 205 gti turbo last week........depressed now ! :D

It was a great day. When I did go out I was surprised how quick my car was tbh even though my racing lines sucked hehe. Shame about the horrid grinding and clonking from the bearings haha!

Northy's Cup racer is insane. I thought I would try and stay ahead for about half a lap, soon realised it was futile and moved over lol :D That thing is like an angry hornet!

haha i have you on camera tommo, so u can watch that lap later this week.

jon - i wish i had of transfered my camera over into your car to record it. I was shocked at how quick you can lap in that thing of yours. UNREAL. shame we didn't get chance to push a few cars around

Wobba - slicks really help keep the speed up, plus with it being a 1.8 i can just plant my foot down and not have to worry too much with loosing grip. In jons u really had to be careful as if you were heavy footed you lost your line.

I have 6 sessions to upload, some longer than others.

Best footage is with jon, scott and matbrown in with me.

Did anyone note any laptimes ???

Aye, out on track I was just starting to get used to the fact I could get on the power earlier in the bends with the diff, as long as I took the line correctly. I went on the grass once as I just was not used to the ability, expected the car to wash out with understeer but it didn't, it was just me not holding it on the tarmac and letting it go wide on a hairpin.

Next time when I have no rumbling bearings and some 888's you'll have to take the car out on track. Should have a bit more poke by then as well ;)

R888 are in a different league for track work and a road legal track tyre R1Rs are a performance road tyre. Now Michelin slick are a different league again :D
