had it laser tracked today and managed to get the front wheels straight.
however i still got odd camber at the front .
passenger side = half a degree neg camber
driver side = 0.35 of a degree positive camber

any ideas how the above figures would affect the driveability of the car ??

i have ordered a pair of camber bolts allowing 1.75 degree adjustment each way now and hoping to get them sorted this way .


second problem is the knock i get under initial acceleration , take my foot
of the gas ,coasting when i hit the pedal again i get this knock which feels like coming from driver side driveshaft but i cant understand how .
my mate reckons its one of the engine mounts .
any ideas on this ??

knock could be wishbone balljoint, subframe bush, wishbones I guess if worn enough.

Camber be ok, could be related to worn parts as mentioned above.

there are no bushes on the subframe :wink:
all the above mentioned are brand new as well .

jacked the front end today and my mate gave it some trashing in first gear :)
looks like the downpipe is running too close to the driveshaft cup on drivers side . also shaking the cup side to side there is a bit of movement coming from the splined joint . could the splines in the cup be worn ??
