my pressure gauge works sometimes but not others so im guessing the clocks are fine and the sender/sensor is fine maybe just faulty wiring?

what are your thoughts?

also, am i right in thinking that the sender unit is fitting into the block under the exhaust manifold towards the drivers side?

f you poke about at the back of the block, under the right hand manifold pipe, there is the sender there with just one wire connecting it. Mine did this sometimes too due to bad connection on sender. I poke with a stick solved it :)

Those senders are the worst - just as bad as the randometer - oil pressure gauge....

mines never worked apart from 5 minutes after the re-build, then it stopped working again... It's a bitch of a job to get in to where the sensor is situated...
