All,

I've just been changing the oil etc on my Willy 3 (BTW I FKN HATE THE OIL FILTER POSITION!!!!!)

.........Oh and I noticed a couple of snapped wires going into a plug on the drivers side of the radiator.

I'm assuming this is the fan thermostat switch but I just wanted to ask to make sure it is.

If so, is this a Renault Dealer part or can they be bought elsewhere?

Thanks in advance for your assistance, I love you all :yourock:

If it is just the plug then get to a scrappie and cut the wires out of a Mk1 and take the plug, ensure as much length as you can, then wire it in on your car. Job done!

New plug and wire snaffled from a sad and lonely mk1 in the scrappy which now makes my fan start when getting a wee bit hot. Super!

Also snaffled a new clock so I can tell the time in the little darling now.

Also put new lights in my dash to make it all christmas tree like and back to the way it should be.

Small things I know but VERY important to a person like me.!
