Don't want to ruin the Williams using it in winter as its pretty mint. Thinking about getting a 106 rallye to use. Could do a couple of track days in it too. Anybody owned one? Or other suggestions?

Speak to Bendee.
He has a couple at the mo.
Also had williams/16v and ITR.

I have a love-hate relationship with the 106 Rallye. It looks nice, is fun to drive, but technically it needs much attention.

Good luck finding a good one. :)

Bendee has an awesome garage by the sounds of it, I'm a mechanic by day so mechanical work doesn't worry me. Always fancied one and they look like they enjoy a regular pasting.

I'm after getting a ph1 rallye soon hopefully to play with.

Probably the purest hot hatch around. Stripped of all luxury to save weight and a revy little engine. It's not as fast as the Williams, but the driving experience is a bit more intense. The Williams is about the same size, but it's totally different (big torquey engine and comfortable). They're both genius hot hatches. 8)

Those 16v engined rallye are silly quick for the cost of dumping the engine in.

I also like the lack of rusty rear arches too :D

They also rust. It's just less visible.

Rust=less weight  will be getting a phase 1 ready for winter time. Gotta be white or red. The black looks a bit pants
