Hi guys,

we need a set of decent brake pads for a set of Wilwood calipers, but unsure of what companies make pads for these calipers.

can anyone shed any light? and what are you guys that have them running? ideally after a pad that works from cold for track and road use, but not as abrasive as carbone lorraines.

any links would be fab!

Ad far as I'm aware carbon Lorraine don't make pads for willwood ailment. I've just bought some new pas and I went with mintex 1166's which the company I work with won't race without. I cam supply these too

i had mintex 1144 in mine. and nearly wend deaf from the squeeling. hence why i no longer have wilwoods. bear this in mind.

thanks guys i have found by google search only 2 pads in wilwood flavour.. Ferodo DS2500 and Mintex M1144

a bit of squealing is to be expected i guess but as long as they dont sound ear piercing like the carbone lorraines then im sure Gaz will give them a try.

LA - what sort of price are we looking at for the pads?

Try rally design for pads, they have Wilwood brand pads aswell.

Will get you a price for both first thing in the morning when im there. The M1144 are a grade lower than mine. Although i chose it to be quite course :)

Tell you what, see if you can get a better price for buying 2 sets at the same time & I'll have a set of whatever Gaz is having, he's got the same calipers as me 8)

The M1144 sound pretty ideal on the reviews ive looked at, Gaz doesnt want them to coarse so they eat his discs away like my carbone lorraines!
