View Full Version : Starter motor in-line fuse

Whilst recovering the loom i noticed the wire that leads to the starter motor has an inline fuse on it,is this a common thing,and is it really necessary?

Thats for the oil pressure sensor :? Is there actually a fuse in there?

sorry yeah,wrong wire,when you pull it apart theres a Renault style connector in there and i pressume a fuse inside the casing,cant see why else it would be there :?

Odd, might be why some peoples oil pressure gauge doesnt work though?

That plug in the picture is for the oil pressure sensor, not there on all looms, but some sensors have the spade plug soldered on making it necessary for a removable section elsewhere in the loom, this is what your looking at.

yeah theres a spade connector on the end Mat,so its just a breaker point then.
