i took the cylinder head of my williams 2 to replace some bent valves and i was wondering do i need to replace the head bolts or can they be used several times before needing replaced.

i forgot to say the head needs skimmed.can that be done?

yes and bolts are 15 quid a set

ive got one of those haynes books and it says in it that you cant skim the head on a f type engine.

You really should have it tested and skimmed if needed.

when its skimmed will a standard head gasket do ?

yes. I had mine skimmed nearly .5mm and was fine on a std gasket.

and does anybody have experiance with the Cylinder Head 12.9 tensile M10 x 100mm socket head cap screws?
