Toad Ai606 alarm

anyone got this alarm on there clio? had any issues etc as i need to put a new alarm on mine, had a clifford and some other random make and both were a nightmare tbh! lol

seen them for £200 fitted or £100 if i fit it myself which isnt a issue tbh.

spot on mate, had one on the turbo, bought it 3 years back and its been perfect, best alarm system i've had. cobra one on this williams and the last one are both shite, sensors inside too sensitive so vibration sets them off, as in lorry going by, and sensor on the remote not sensitive enough, bugger never opens first plip!

cool, just wanted to see if others with the alarm had any issues, the clifford would often not dis-arm so obv couldnt get in or start it lol

the other alarm(cant remember make) was also very intermitant, think it depended which way the wind was blowing with that!

No problems with the 1 alarm I dont think, other than it sets itself, but thats normal I think.

May get one installed soon myself.

i had this alarm on the naples until one night i was in a rush to go somewhere and the immobilisor just stopped working and i couldnt turn it off, emergency auto electrician was needed and said it was knackered so chopped it up and bypassed it :(

Had the Toad Ai606 alarm on a valver a few years ago, absolutely loved it.

Get it installed properly so when you unlock the car and open a door, it won't re-arm, but if you unlock it and don't open a door or the boot, the alarm will re-activate and unlock the doors.

Also it's quite good that it locks the car doors once you've fired it up and set off.

Never had an issue with mine.
