Hi Robbi, sounds great, Im building a kit car shortly an itll be running 1800 zetec with 2litre cams fuelled by kawasaki ninja bike carbs with 38 mm chokes. An if yours is anything to go by i will be well chuffed (pleased). PS who made your inlet manifold ? :D

I made it myself (with some help from my friends). It's TIG welded stainless steel tubes and plate. Next one will definitely be made from aluminium, because even if this one looks nice (at least I like it, but then again, I made it) it's very heavy.

With 38mm you should have good low down torque and midrange, but don't expect it to be a screamer. Biggest problem will be carb jetting (if you don't have jet sizes that work).

Nice one robi, yes as you say jetting might be a problem but a couple of specialists rec0mmend adjusting the needles as well as sharpening them for a better response, we will see how it goes
