insurance questions

my niece has just got her first car. a small 1 litre corsa and ive been doing the old compare the meercat and go compare etc etc but cheapest i can find for her is 1600 quid!!!!!! surely its not that much now is it??? i know she will be a novice driver with no no claims bonus but that is ridiculous?? does anyone know of any cheap insurers about??? even if we could get it down to 1k we would be happy!!!!

Those are cheapest for me, infact diamond are a part of elephant although sometimes come up with different prices...

Either that or have someone else own the policy

try it with an older more experienced driver on the policy as a named driver, normally brings it down abit, or as LA said :wink:

i was with diamond for years and built up my no claims with them, they were always my cheapest quote by far. i joined them with only a years no claims and it was about £800 on my first valver :)

My dads always been on my policy - he knocks off about £100 for me.
