Evo's bad luck at Anglesy continues

I have just pinched this from the results sheet on the ANWCC website,I hope Steve does not mind

It looks like it was a bad day again :cry: :cry: :cry: for Evogone.

I think Anglesey must be a jinx/bogie circuit for Steve :( :( :( .This his the second retirement from two events at this circuit.
Comiserations to Steve & Ben and I hope the problem is not to expensive to repair

Its true, first stage it was popping out of 5th gear, 2nd stage stuck in 5th, 3rd stage stuck in 4th gear....then retired.

Car will select gears but wont go into 4th now so look like selector fork damage or broken.

Was a shame as we were 3 secs of the O/A lead of the event after the first stage.! romping the class and we had the pace to win.

Oh well, clicky box ????? :wink:

One thing that did cheer me up i though we had held car 7 (WRC Escort cosworth) up on the first stage when we met at the split and he was behind us for a full loop of the circuit. Went over after the stage to see if he was ok, he said dont worry you didnt hold us up in fact on the long straight up the hill you were pulling away.!!

Wouldnt have had time to change the box plus the Diff and final drive are different.

Sadev has been quoted now at 9.4k for everything :oops: but there is one on the continent im looking at for less money (Could buy a complete Mk2 Cup car for the same money so im not convinced). We will see lot of money though but getting this box rebuilt regardless.

This was the one in question, he was leading the event until he missed a split on the last stage..!!!!
