I only reccently (1 year ago) fitted new grooved rear discs i purchased of ebay. They came with the bearings pressed in already.
Since then I have done several laps around Castle Combe and Silverstone and one full day at Bedford with Toyo R888 tyres on. On the last lap at Bedford I had a terrible whining noise coming from the rear of the car anything above 70mph. When I got home I checked for play in the bearings and found nothing wrong, re-fitted standard wheels and tyres but the noise is still there above 70mph
Is this the rear bearings on the way out already due to the abuse on track?
Maybe the ebay items have cheaper bearings than OEM?
Is it common to go through a lot of bearings on track?
