I discussed performance problems on here a few months back, my mechanic found that i needed a new distributor, which seemed to make everything hunky dory again..

a month has passed now and i am suffering with the same lack of power as i did before. :?

A few of you mentioned having a compression test done, how much would this set me back?

Cheers.

Would cost you a tenner and end up with a free tool

Cool, thanks guys. Not used one before so does it have instructions on how to use and what results to look for?

I would....

Take all spark plugs out, disconnect crank sensor to stop it spitting in fuel and trying to start...

Screw it into one of the spark plug holes, foot to the floor crank for 5-10 seconds and then read result :)
