Track day lid

Went shopping today and the guy in the bike shop told me that on some tracks you need a driving specific lid and won't be allowed on with a motorbike lid :?

Does someone know what he's on about as I want to get a lid tomorrow morning!

I've used my bike lid for loads of trackdays. Never been checked before.

Right - apparently a proper driving lid is fireproof, that's the difference

So obviously now that i know, i'm off to buy the cheapest non fire proff lid i can find - lol

track days are diff, only sanctioned race events require SNELL SA2000 and FIA approval.

they specify a BSI approved lids for anglesey, 've only got a bike lid
