Anyone with a Supersprint / k-tec manifold question

Anyone with a supersprint manifold & downpipe.... do you have any issues with getting the pipe to seal onto the cat or de-cat?

I've tried high temp silicone, gaskets and combinations of those and can't get the thing to seal on the joint and it keeps blowing...

Do I need a nice shiny new de-cat with a machined edge to marry up with the new downpipe?

Someone must have married it up to an existing cat somehow?

Any advice would be appreciated...

Have you got the flexi bit fitted?

aye, flexi is on that joint too... don't want to tighten that to much otherwise there is no movement in the system = cracked manifold..

not an OEM item I know but it looks great and it won't rust.... sets off the bay really well...

mine was alittle awkward on the cat but thats down to the state of the flange on the cat itself, its pretty rusty like lol the decat seals fine
