Check that the haldex unit has been serviced regularly as per the Audi schedule.

Temp should remain at 90 degree if it fluctuates could be a faulty thermostat and water coolant temp sensor.

Ideally if it has had a cambelt water pump should have been done, if sensible they will have used a metal impeller unit as the plstic ones fail.

Coil packs are prone to issues.

Thats about the norm!

Turbo, dash problems, rear suspension bushes on subframe, tyre wear etc. Have a mate who is an Audi technician who says thay never leavr the garage for less than 2 grand - if dash goes, and they do, you have to change the entire unit. and you thought the renault cost.........................

apparently they have a habit of eating thru brake pipes too if the cambelts not been done correctly....so gunner advises me.

That's not really true is it? I quite like the Lancia Delta Integrale and R32 Skyline. But yer they do suck compared to a well kept Williams, yes. I think so.

Done a couple of engine changes to the 1.8 20v turbo. You are meant to change the oil every 5k to stop sludging
