So, i got the project a few weeks ago, heres what i've done so far.
Within two days it was gutted of its seats and rear plastics.

Still need to remove passenger doorcard and roof lining.
Then over the weekend, i did some sound deadening removal.

And gave it a light wash just to see how bad the paint was. It wasn't too bad i thought -

That was until a mate come round for a look over the car and popped the bonnet (which wasn't attached with its hinges) and it fell face down onto the concrete driveway, pmsl. Nevermind!
Still, i picked these up the other day -

Same as what i had before monaco s except in blue for £100 with the subframes, also got sparco harnesses for £20 (3 points which i prefer).
A friend has assessed the rust and is going to be doing some welding/arch replacement for me in 3 sundays time. By which time i hope to have bought some new braided hoses and get the brake line sorted at the same time and hopefully get its exhaust on and the front end back together, then possibly an mot before it gets painted.
Im going to drive it for a bit on the 1.8 an destroy it on track but am already searching for a suitable 2.0 replacement. Will change over to coilovers when i do the engine swap. So good to have a clio on the drive again.
