has any got a clue on how to get it off.

also are the boots Renault only because the one I got from the local factors and it attaches on the out part of the joint whilst the valver one attaches on the inside using a retaining ring.

Thats a weird one. Yes, a circlip is usually holding it on, looks like its been pressed on there. The gaiter needs the triangular piece putting over it, carefully, and three bolts hold it in place in the gearbox.

eye thats a funny driveshaft - is it a genuine one?

I would search for a replacement shaft tbh with the circlip end on it

yeah its genuine. but not the original it has a abs ring on it when i don't have abs.

had a chat with sideway danny, he said he's seen a few before like this and its needs a total new shaft if the inner boot goes. they don't do anyform of replacement parts for it.

so the hunt for a new shaft is on. proper ball ache just because the old downpipe slipped out my hand when removing it.
