I have been doing business for several years having specials shafts/gears and hubs etc made.I have become quiet friendly with the MD and been pushing him to make LSD's and gearkits for the 16V and Williams gearboxes ~~ Lo and behold    He arrives at Anglesey race circuit (my motorclubs stage rally) with drawings and a price plus details of the said item

So for those that want a 100% BRAND NEW    ,not a modified OE .item   Limited Slip Differential ~~~ £1000,ready to fit your own gearbox.
ANY FINAL DRIVE RATIO, USING YOUR OWN STANDARD DRIVESHAFTS,NO DIFFERENCE IN PRICE WHETHER IT IS A JC5 OR JB5 BOX.GUARANTEED 6 WEEKS LEAGUE TIME.
They will deal with you direct or let me be the middle man ~~ obviously the more he gets the cheaper they become.
He is prepared to look at gearkits ~~ If there is any interest
It is a bit late as the Gripper group buy took off,but it is the best I can do

Hehehe nice. Well, typically I've just received my Gripper diff after almost FOUR MONTHS waiting.

What type of diff is it?

Wobba,
It is a fully plated diff aka ZF style   slip and ramp angles to your choice as is the Final drive, which is not welded/bolted but a shrink fit,If I can get the drawings shrunk,I will post a picture or two.
100% manufactured from high quality steels and heat treated etc etc .ready to fit.
TBH .Elite have become a better alternative to other UK. gearbox/driveshaft manufacturers.
There was a 2400 Escort Mk.II running there 6 speed sequential with paddle shift & flat change   on our rally,I have never or heard a quicker change ever  .
Like ~I said i apologise for the lateness in this, but to design from scratch etc is not a 10 minute exercise.
They are prepared to make SOLID shafts any length for approx £150 ~~ without the couplings.likewise uprated torsion Bars,in fact anything gears.splines etc

If you contact them, please mention me (Rod) as we have had a chat etc etc

There may well be interest off the back of my results with my diff. I have heard Gripper are really good but the manufacturing turnaround time was agonising for me.

Like I said these are manufacturers of high quality transmissions,in all disciplines of motorsport ~ have a look at the website.
They are very good to deal with and have listened and responded favourably to one or two comments I have made about there design   .
I have offered to test any items they wish on the spare car to prove there products.

On delivery, they made two SPECIAL driveshafts within 10 days   for £300,it took them 2 weeks to produce a complete upright for a "special" axle ~~~ A Toyota Corolla with a 245bhp Vauxhall engine, going to a Ford/Toyota rear axle
