was just wondering ther is any way or adjusting the clutch pedal had a new clutch in the car but the pedal has to almost be fully down to disengage would prefere it higher if possible :roll:

Reset the ratchet mechanism.

undo cable from gearbox end and remove green pedal stop. put pedal to floor then reconnect box end, press pedal down to floor and whilst still holding pedal down refit pedal stop

let pedal back up gently to stop, remove pressure completely

then pump it a few times gently to settle it

this is how i usually get the mechanism to take well

I've just replaced my cable and tryed this method myself, before i tryed it the clutch was too tight and wouldnt select a gear, even with th clutch fully in, now the biting point is too high and its obviously not out fully. any help please? :)
