Clio Convert

Evening all, I'm a complete newbie to all of this. I had an xr2i many years ago and then started buying very boring cars. I've suddenly realised /remembered that hothatches are the most fun things ever. I always wanted a Clio Williams and now I've decided on one I'm very keen to find an original Mk1 in good condition, ie no rust and well looked after.

If anyone is even contimplating selling their baby I would love to find a fun car. Looking forward to finding the perfect car

welcome mate, good luck with the search, best places to try are on here in the classifieds although not sure if anyones selling currently really, autotrader or pistonheads, try to avoid ebay unless it looks like a very well written advert and you view the car first :wink:

AM i doing the right thing looking only at the Williams 1? I'm yet to drive any of the williams and starting to wonder if I sould spend more and look out for a low milage 3. All help appreciated

try and get a 1 if you can. The 3's are the worst with rust at the minute

imo you've not owned a williams until you've had a 1, but then i would say that!

you only have to ask mr northrop above, he agrees that williams 3's are really just a valver :wink:

nout wrong with 2's.....besides the rust...there also ideal for stripping bare and hooning round tracks in! ;)
