I found some rust on the inside of the arch. There's just one small bubble on the outside and a bit more on the inside. How should I sort this so that it will not rust anymore? What would be the best way to approach this problem?

Bubble on the outside. It's about 3mm in diameter.

If I leave this as it is it will come through in no time. Most probably there's more rust than it can be seen from the pics (there always is).

What should I do?

scrat all the underseal away inside and if the metal isnt gone treat and zinc prime. replace the underseal

Then on the outside repeat the process. But you may find the metal has gone very thin and gone through.

Any recommended method how to work in that area? It's very cramped and hard to reach... :?

I've had a bubble like that on my passenger side for 3 years. Never gone anywhere.

The drivers side is a whole other embarassing story.

Yeah but my car is getting ful respray now and I don't want to risk it. I want to last it for a few years. My other arch is getting replaced completely, but I want to save this one. :D

As northy said, strip it all back to bare metal and zinc it up in that case.

I long for the day I can strip my car and put it back together how it should have been done in the firstplace.

When it comes to rust, any amount of it is too much. :)

Try living in UK hehe, rust is inevitable with our weather. Saying that, it's a lovely day here on the coast and has been for 4 days!
